Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Cyber Security Solutions Architect to join our team at Materna. As a key member of our Cyber Defense Center, you will be responsible for designing and implementing multi-tenant solutions based on Microsoft Cloud or Azure products and technologies. Your primary goal will be to offer secure services to our customers by configuring and implementing these solutions.

In this role, you will define configuration blueprints that adapt the functions of used products and technologies to meet customer needs. You will also create concepts and implement solutions to monitor and manage configurations in customer environments. Furthermore, you will work with our analysts to develop effective procedures for detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, and support them in their efforts.

About the Role
  • We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around €65,000 - €80,000 depending on your experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in IT or engineering, along with several years of professional experience in the IT security environment, preferably in an MSSP or corporate setting.
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft 365 Defender Suite, Azure Defender Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Lighthouse, Azure Logic Apps, and Microsoft Intune, as well as knowledge of other relevant Microsoft Cloud or Azure products and services.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) and Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100), or a willingness to acquire them in the near future.
  • Experience handling common security tools and solutions, including SIEM, EDR, NDR, and IDS/IPS systems or solutions.
  • Profound knowledge of operating systems, network infrastructures, and IT architectures.
  • An analytical mindset and a solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills (C1 level) and basic knowledge of German.
