Quality Assurance Specialist

As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our space technology products.
Your mission will be to uphold the stellar quality of our products and ensure our suppliers' contributions meet our exacting standards. You will work collaboratively with our engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect products and materials according to quality standards, technical drawings, procedures, and plans.
* Document inspection results and report any defects or non-conformities.
* Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.
* Run statistical studies such as reproducibility and capability.
* Maintain and update quality inspector records.
* Perform detailed inspections of space components and mechanical parts using precision measuring tools and equipment.
* Verify that products meet established quality standards and specifications.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as Quality Inspector or similar, relevant role with at least 3 years of experience.
* A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
* Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
* Strong knowledge in Space standards as ECSS, ASTM, and MIL etc.
* Good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Ability to document results and create reports.
* Education/Certification in relevant field (e.g. engineering, safety, quality control).
* Responsible and trustworthy.
* Highly detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent English skills (written and oral), German is beneficial but not necessary.
