About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent student to work on a Bachelor or Master Thesis about a topic related to 'Investigating Key Properties of Event Logs.' The selected candidate will contribute to long-term product innovation in Business Process Intelligence, one of the most exciting areas in the B2B software market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a research project under the guidance of an academic supervisor and in alignment with SAP Signavio's product vision.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions in Business Process Intelligence.
  • Collaborate with experts from various disciplines, including researchers, product managers, data scientists, and software engineers.
Requirements
  • Student at a university or university of applied sciences.
  • Good knowledge of at least one programming language.
  • Some knowledge of Python.
  • Basic knowledge of version control software.
  • Basic knowledge of test-driven development.
  • Basic knowledge of business process management.
  • Basic knowledge of logic, knowledge representation, and reasoning.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good scientific writing skills.
Desired Skills
  • Advanced Python programming skills.
  • Ability to create JavaScript-based user interfaces.
  • Broad business process management knowledge and creative problem-solving skills.
