Localization Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Testronic. As a Localization Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our games by identifying and correcting translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews of game translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with our development team to resolve any translation-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of gaming industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Perfect knowledge of German (C2 level is minimum).
  • Very good level of English (C1 level is minimum).
  • Good technical and MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Passionate about gaming and a curiosity for new titles (all types of games count).
  • Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing is a plus.
