About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Manager to join our team at Baettr Ostfriesland in Germany. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HSE expertise to support our German operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate HSE-related risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and programs to drive business excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay informed about emerging HSE trends and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of HSE incidents and near-misses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, natural sciences).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HSE or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE strategies and programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Fluency in German and English.
