About the Role:
CyberX GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger accounting, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Post journal entries and maintain the chart of accounts
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency
- Participate in special projects related to financial analysis, forecasting, and process enhancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a focus on group accounting or retail operations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS, German GAAP/HGB)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Language Requirements:
Fluent in German and English is a must.
