About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to support our Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) team at Continental in Northeim. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing acquisition strategies to achieve agreed order intake targets for assigned customers and segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve target margins and order intake for assigned customers and segments
  • Manage all sales activities, including pre-acquisition, negotiation, project development, serial sales, and spare part sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their requirements and technology trends
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customers and drive business growth
  • Develop and manage sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of sales performance
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner

Requirements

  • Academic degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or Economics/B2B Marketing
  • Several years of experience in sales, engineering, or project management in the automotive industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales and customer relationship management
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, business development, and project management
  • Fluent German and business-level English language skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
