About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to support our Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) team at Continental in Northeim. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing acquisition strategies to achieve agreed order intake targets for assigned customers and segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve target margins and order intake for assigned customers and segments
- Manage all sales activities, including pre-acquisition, negotiation, project development, serial sales, and spare part sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their requirements and technology trends
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customers and drive business growth
- Develop and manage sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of sales performance
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
- Academic degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or Economics/B2B Marketing
- Several years of experience in sales, engineering, or project management in the automotive industry
- Proven track record of success in sales and customer relationship management
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, business development, and project management
- Fluent German and business-level English language skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
