Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at our Wiesbaden location. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 40 employees and overseeing all logistics activities from receipt to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- As a leader within the Supply Chain, you will be the primary point of contact for all logistics-related matters.
- You will lead a team of motivated employees and ensure their engagement and motivation during times of change.
- You will develop and implement concepts and key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage logistics activities.
- You will design and implement product-specific warehousing and loading processes.
- You will work closely with the ERP system team to improve and optimize processes.
- You will create and manage the annual budget and personnel plan for your department.
- You will collaborate with the Unit Leadership, Production Manager, and other senior leaders to drive business results.
Requirements
- You hold a degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving business results.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex situations.
- You are creative and able to develop innovative solutions to improve processes and efficiency.
- You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- You are proficient in ERP systems, KPI tools, and Microsoft Office.
- You have excellent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
- You hold a valid driver's license (Class B) to enable you to work at our locations in Wiesbaden, Nordenstadt, and Hofheim-Wallau.
