About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Management Specialist to join our Regulatory Affairs team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the Compliance program for Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE (GSBE) and its European branches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer in maintaining the Compliance program for GSBE and its European branches.
  • Facilitate regulatory inquiries and support the team in regulatory exams.
  • Conduct Compliance training and support regular and ad hoc reporting to governance forums.
  • Coordinate the governance documentation of GSBE and support project management and Board reporting.
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • First professional compliance/financial services experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of the European regulatory environment for the Compliance function (ESMA GL, EBA GL, MaComp, MaRisk).
  • Good interpersonal skills and effective written/oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English and German.
