We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Workday Finance Implementation Consultant. As a member of our project teams, you'll play a key role in the end-to-end implementation of Workday's Financial Management product, across a varied portfolio of customers.
As a trusted advisor to our customers, you'll lead or support the implementation of single or multiple Finance functional streams, on any given implementation project. You'll have the opportunity to learn and achieve many things as a Consultant at Workday, including completing the Workday Core Finance & Practical Certification training and undertaking further Specialist Certification training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to our customers, leading or supporting the implementation of single or multiple Finance functional streams.
- Complete the Workday Core Finance & Practical Certification training and undertake further Specialist Certification training.
- Work closely with other Consulting Teams on projects, including Data and Integration Consultants, to ensure seamless collaboration between the various touch-points of the application.
- Gather and understand Customer's Business Requirements and demonstrate core Workday concepts, utilising pre-delivered Workday solutions.
- Translate Customer requirements into configured solutions and ensure detailed unit testing of the Workday solution.
- Support your customer during multiple rounds of testing, responding to and resolving test issues under the guidance of the Lead Consultant.
- Undertake final deployment activities for the customer, including the provision of knowledge transfer and post-production support activities.
About You
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a blended mix of Functional and Technical Consulting skills relating to the implementation of business software applications. Workday Consultants act as trusted advisors to our Customers, as a result we are Business Consultants who are experts in the functional aspects of the Workday platform.
Requirements:
- Language Skills: business fluent English and German required.
- 2-3+ years Consulting experience, either as an Internal Consultant or with a Consulting/Software Company.
- 2-3+ years experience working with or Implementing a Tier 1 business software application such as: Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, NetSuite, FinancialForce or similar applications.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (under typical circumstances).
