Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at SCHENK TANKTRANSPORT GmbH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the transportation of various products, including fuels, chemicals, and other hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation Planning: Develop and implement efficient transportation plans to ensure timely and safe delivery of products to our customers.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and minimize delays.
- Route Optimization: Analyze and optimize routes to reduce fuel consumption, lower emissions, and improve overall efficiency.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols, including those related to hazardous materials transportation.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports to track key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as Hazmat endorsement or Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
