Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize networks in a hyperscaler environment based on Microsoft Azure to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design network architectures, and implement solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the SDN infrastructure.
  • Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to optimize network performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and actively participate in professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in the SDN environment.
  • Experience with cloud or other SDN network solutions, including network authentication and authorization.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing software-defined network solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway, and Load Balancer.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing software-defined networking solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform are a plus.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, DNS, and security principles.
  • Experience with encryption protocols/technologies for data protection, including VPN, IPSec, and TLS.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, C++, Java, Python, Perl for network automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
