Cost Engineer

BRP-Rotax is seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer to join our team in Austria, Gunskirchen. As a Cost Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial goals by analyzing and negotiating costs in ongoing series production.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct analysis and cost calculations to ensure transparent presentation of component costs and target pricing for development projects.
- Manage and implement cost workshops to optimize cost savings.
- Mentor new colleagues and transfer specific knowledge to ensure seamless integration.
- Analyze and evaluate relevant cost driver structures to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop target costs based on benchmarks and best practices.
- Completed commercial or technical education (HAK, HTL) or completed studies (FH, University).
- Experience in process cost knowledge or in aluminum.
- Strong analytical thinking skills and affinity for numbers and analysis.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office Excel.
- Very good German and English language skills.
- Basic willingness to travel.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
You will be offered an exciting position with many and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 57,92 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
