Job Title: Senior Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Uniper. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Uniper Site Team and ensure effective coordination with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and assume the tasks and duties of the client on the construction site.
  • Coordinate all work related to Uniper with regard to occupational safety, quality requirements, and timely completion of the construction project.
  • Manage and record construction site coordination meetings with suppliers and ensure interdisciplinary coordination of activities on the construction site.
  • Draw up proposals and suggestions for processing on the construction site and report to project management.
  • Monitor deadlines, report deviations from deadlines, and develop proposed solutions to make up for project delays.
  • Cost determination and control, technical invoice verification, and support in contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate in the preparation or defence of claims and present all construction site activities to the Uniper Steering Committee and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
  • University degree in an engineering programme (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar).
  • Several years of experience in site management/superstructure management.
  • Experience in power plant construction or the oil and gas industry is an advantage.
  • Organisational talent, familiarity with PM systems, DMS knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to perform and performance-orientated action, ability to work under pressure in the context of the project business.
  • Willingness for long-term assignments on construction sites at home and abroad.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English required.
