At Software AG, we are looking for a skilled Mainframe Assembler Developer Expert to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for adding new features and enhancements to our Adabas mainframe product line, leveraging innovative technologies to drive business success.

About the Role

As a Mainframe Assembler Developer Expert, you will:

  • Collaborate with experienced developers to design, develop, and test new software features and enhancements.
  • Work on the current Mainframe assembler with comprehensive knowledge and experience.
  • Utilize robust testing to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
  • Take ownership of software development and ensure proactive analysis and testing.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to solve complex problems.

About You

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • At least 10 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage complexities and competing priorities.
  • Ability to combine judgment, experience, analytic, and debugging skills with business sense.
  • Very good interpersonal/communication skills and experience coordinating information among groups.
  • Solid knowledge and use of IBM Assembler.
  • Experience with automated testing tools.
