About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic SAP Professional to lead our team in delivering exceptional enterprise solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on all relevant IT issues, particularly with regards to SAP S/4HANA migrations.

Our clients expect us to provide sound advice on complex IT challenges, and this presents our customers with special opportunities for growth and development. To serve our customers better, we would like to strengthen our SAP team with professionals who can develop superior ERP/SAP S/4 strategies, concepts, and solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading clients through SAP S/4 projects along the entire supply chain: from requirements analysis to solution design/technical concept, implementation, testing, training, and rollout.
  • Designing/defining specific SAP S/4 solutions along the value chain of our clients and the required SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, TM, PS/PP, SCM, R&D, PLM, CRM, SRM, HCM, ...).
  • Introducing best practices in the evaluation, specification, and implementation of user requirements, particularly with a view to reducing one-off and maintenance costs.
  • Technical management of SAP S/4 implementation and migration projects or in specific domains.
  • Requirements management within the scope of SAP S/4HANA projects, including the management of specialist concept workshops with business process managers.
  • Controlling and prototyping of customizing of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Supporting the sale of large ERP/SAP projects by providing technical and methodological expertise.
  • Further developing the content of the topic ERP/SAP S/4 at BCG Platinion, e.g., through participation in conferences, in the creation of a training catalog, or with technical articles.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An above-average degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in the context of strategic ERP/SAP projects.
  • Technical knowledge along typical end-to-end processes relevant in the ERP context (Purchase-2-Pay, Order-2-Cash, Lead-2-Quote, Record-2-Report, Hire-2-Retire, etc.) and their implementation in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of specific SAP industry solutions (IS-U, IS-H, IS-M...), specialist SAP add-on solutions (e.g., APO/IBP, Treasury/BCM, FSCM, Transportation Management, BPC/SEM, etc.), and analytical SAP tools (e.g., SAP BW/BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Digital Boardroom, etc.).
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong client and result orientation.
  • Team spirit, communication, and presentation skills as well as intellectual agility.
  • Ability to align individuals and organizations to a common goal.
