Prysmian Kabel und Systeme GmbH is seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join our dynamic and international team. As an Installation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the execution and success of our activities, interacting with a multicultural team, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Support in defining cable installation requirements and preparing technical documents for cable installation activities.
- Active interaction with internal departments, external consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
- Support in planning activities of cable installation on site, including site visits to check feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Technical support to the purchasing department for the finalization of subcontracts.
- Preparation and check of final as-built documentation.
- Honorable degree in technical engineering (civil, mechanical, or materials engineering).
- Fluent in English and German, written and spoken.
- 0-3 years of work experience.
- Basic knowledge of the land cable installation business/market.
- Knowledge and familiarity with common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and GIS.
- Good relationship approach and team working capability.
- Problem-solving, target-oriented, and proactive approach in finding solutions in complex environments.
- Capability to set and handle priorities pragmatically.
- Flexibility and ability to manage changes during work.
- Willingness to quickly learn and get involved.
