About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Technician. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing reinsurance portfolios from policy to financial processing of premiums and claims, as well as associated reporting.
About the Responsibilities:
• Efficient and accurate booking of reinsurance settlements, monitoring of incoming payment transactions, correspondence, and execution of the first step of the dunning process.
• Regular reporting and close cooperation with the responsible underwriter and the claims team.
• Entry and maintenance of contract data in our policy administration system.
• Cooperation with colleagues in other locations.
Skills and Experience:
• Successful completion of a commercial vocational training or business degree, preferably with a focus on accounting, finance, insurance, or completed commercial training, preferably also with initial professional experience in Reinsurance.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German.
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking skills with a very good understanding of data and figures.
• Strong initiative and willingness to work on your own initiative.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure successful collaboration.
