As a Technical Editor at GULP – experts united, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical documentation for our systems and series products. Your expertise will ensure that our content is accurate, engaging, and meets the needs of our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality technical documentation, including operating, assembly, and installation instructions, tailored to specific target groups.
  • Review and verify technical documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
  • Standardize documentation structure, presentation, and modularization, and conduct independent research to gather data and information.
  • Manage the process of working with external translation agencies.
  • Contribute to the development of a terminology management system.
  • Design and create images, 3D drawings, and graphics using tools like SolidWork Composer.

Requirements:

  • A degree in technical documentation/editing or a technical/scientific degree with additional qualifications in technical editing.
  • Alternatively, a completed training program in technical editing or technical product design with relevant experience in technical editing.
  • Proven experience in technical documentation and knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Expertise in basic rules of technical writing, including terminology consistency, sentence patterns, warning formulations, and translation-oriented writing.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
