Environmental Sustainability Consultant

We are seeking a talented professional to lead Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects at Sphera, a dynamic and rapidly growing market-leading company.

About the role

This exciting opportunity is for a consultant to work on a variety of challenging assignments related to environmental Life Cycle Assessment modelling and reporting, with a focus on multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage projects on Life Cycle Assessment and feasibility studies.
  • Create LCA models of products or services using GaBi software.
  • Write reports documenting project work, conforming to ISO 14040/44 standards.
  • Perform analysis on energy, water, waste, air emissions, and costs.
  • Prepare and present project results in PowerPoint or other formats.
  • Ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Collaborate with Sphera team members across specialties and regions.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and travel as necessary for projects.

Your profile

  • A positive attitude and undergraduate or Master's degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and passion for sustainability, environmental systems, life cycle thinking, product sustainability, and climate change.
  • Experience managing small to medium team projects.
  • Strong quantitative or technical background with analytical thinking.
  • Aptitude for learning new software, ideally with basic programming experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Desire to help companies succeed in an environmentally sustainable manner.
