Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the university's needs, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and standards.
- Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders on procurement processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct thorough risk analyses to identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and review specifications, tender documents, and contract management plans.
- Monitor and compare prices to ensure the best value for the university, while also ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
- Support market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings.
- Analyze needs and determine contract requirements to ensure the university's procurement needs are met.
- University degree in a relevant field, such as Administration, Law, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate procurement risks.
- Proficiency in MS-Office and other relevant software applications.
- Experience in university administration, with a strong understanding of the procurement process.
- Practical experience in public procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.
- SAP MM knowledge and experience, with the ability to implement and manage procurement systems.
