Construction Planning Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our team at Norconsulting. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical leadership of our construction planning team, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring that all technical aspects are properly managed and coordinated.
  • Develop and implement construction planning strategies, taking into account the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that all projects are delivered successfully.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction work is being carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning, with a strong background in civil engineering.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
