JavaScript Game Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled JavaScript Game Development Specialist to join our team at Famobi GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in modifying existing HTML5 games and maintaining their repositories. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects and to develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and fix bugs in HTML5 games to ensure seamless gameplay and user experience
  • Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs to enhance game functionality and performance
  • Maintain game repositories and manage deployments to ensure timely and efficient release of new content
  • Customize and implement features in HTML5 games to meet the evolving needs of our users

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a strong understanding of game development principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with HTML5 game frameworks, such as Phaser, and experience with game development tools and technologies
  • Previous experience with mobile web development and a strong understanding of mobile device capabilities and limitations
