About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Strategic Account Manager to join our portfolio company and support its go-to market strategies. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of business-critical services and contributing to various projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and oversee transactions on the marketplace to ensure smooth trade between buyers and suppliers
  • Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to address any issues, inquiries, or challenges that may arise during the trading process
  • Stay informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics to make informed trading decisions
  • Conduct regular analysis of trade data and provide insights to enhance trading strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships
  • Address any concerns or feedback from clients and work towards effective problem resolution
  • Work closely with the technology team to provide feedback on platform functionality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all trades comply with relevant regulations and internal policies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • Prior experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent German skills and strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • A basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management is a plus

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required.
