Data Protection Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging role in data protection? We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Protection Coordinator at Hannover Re.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, particularly regarding GDPR
  • Advising internal departments on data protection-related issues
  • Preparing reports for the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board
  • Training and raising awareness among employees on data protection topics
  • Documenting data protection incidents and their resolution
  • Collaborating with relevant regulatory authorities and handling requests and complaints in the area of data protection

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in Business Administration with legal references or completed studies in Law/Business Law
  • Initial practical experience in data protection law
  • Solid knowledge of the GDPR
  • Proficiency in German and English at a negotiation level
  • A keen eye for data protection risks and details, combined with forward-thinking
