Procurement Specialist Direct Raw Materials

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Aachen. This is a fixed-term contract position with the potential to extend or transition to a permanent contract after one year.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and managing Purchase Orders (POs) for direct raw materials. You will work closely with strategic procurement, suppliers, production, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory management.

• Create and approve POs for direct raw materials
• Vendor follow-ups for shipments and on-time delivery
• Manage inventory levels to optimize inventory strategy
• Evaluate reasons for overstock/stock out and propose correction actions
• Partner with global procurement teams to reduce inventory and improve supply chains
• Support DBS continuous improvement initiatives
• Update KPIs in a timely manner

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant field with 2+ years of experience in procurement
• Experience working with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
