We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our global team at Blacklane, a leading provider of premium global chauffeur services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping our legal landscape and contributing to our mission of creating true peace of mind for discerning travelers.

Your Challenge
  • Provide expert legal advice to our general counsel and senior leadership team on a wide range of issues, including data protection, corruption, mobility, competition law, consumer protection, and sanctions.
  • Help develop and implement legal and compliance strategies to support our company's growth and prepare for a potential IPO.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, overseeing regulatory relationships and managing regulatory compliance matters.
  • Advise on the legal and business ramifications of various corporate and commercial initiatives, including M&A deals, finance rounds, and joint ventures.
  • Assist in implementing best practices for corporate governance, including setting up board processes and practices to comply with listing standards.
About You
  • Completed German State Exam in Law with excellent results.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience, ideally obtained in a well-regarded, international law firm.
  • Motivation and a passion for law mixed with a pragmatic work style and eagerness to progress.
  • Interest in being a generalist, taking on projects relating to a wide variety of important legal matters.
  • Ability to independently manage projects and negotiate related agreements.
  • Outstanding communication skills that allow you to interact with a wide variety of individuals and convey legal facts clearly and simply.
  • Fluency in English and German.
