About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group Deutschland. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and supporting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cooks in the preparation and presentation of meals
• Support the Executive Chef in menu planning and inventory management
• Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
• Manage kitchen operations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
