Are you a seasoned finance professional looking to drive financial performance and operational efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment?

As a Senior Plant Controller at Copeland, you will play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with Plant Management and the local Finance Leader to ensure accurate financial data reporting, analysis, and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly and annual financial planning and analysis, including budget review, plan updates, and variance tracking
  • Reconciling monthly financial results to plan and providing recommendations for corrective actions
  • Generating monthly reports and variance analysis of actual performance
  • Collaborating with plant management to keep costs under control and providing visibility through relevant analysis and reporting tools
  • Tracking productivity and cost reduction projects
  • Participating in decision-making processes by preparing detailed analysis and making recommendations to management
  • Creating and maintaining performance dashboards and regular follow-up on relevant supply chain KPIs
  • Providing backup for accounting/controlling on monthly close requirements
  • Conducting periodic operational reviews with Operations, Finance, and Management
  • Ad-hoc projects focused on continuous process improvements

Requirements include:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling
  • Minimum years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience with preparing balance sheets, P&Ls, and other financial statements
  • Experience working with SAP as an ERP system
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to comfortably communicate financial information to senior levels
  • Proficiency in German and English

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Past experience working in a matrix organization
  • Proactive and able to identify and handle priorities
