We are seeking a highly skilled Software Automation Engineer to join our team at Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Customization of Software Packages: Develop and customize software packages based on customer projects and requirements.
- Integration and Refactoring: Integrate software packages and external components with different interfaces, and refactor existing software to improve performance and efficiency.
- Project-Based Software Development: Develop software solutions based on customer requirements, including documentation of results, modifications, and developments.
- Maschinensicherheitssoftware Development: Create project-specific machine safety software based on our software library.
- Standard Software Library Development: Develop standard software libraries for our customers.
- Software Structure Definition: Define the overall structure of project-specific software according to our guidelines.
- Driver Development: Collaborate with our team to develop drivers for integrating external systems.
- Hardware Platform Adaptation: Adapt our standard software libraries to different hardware platforms specified by our customers.
- Installation Support: Provide support for customer installations, particularly in cases of technical issues.
- Function Description Creation: Assist in creating function descriptions for our software solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
- Experience: Relevant work experience is desirable.
- Programming Skills: Experience with free programmable control systems is essential.
- Language Skills: Good English language skills are required.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within and outside Germany.
