Customs and Trade Innovator

At the BMW Group, we are shaping the future of mobility through innovative customs and trade solutions. As a Customs and Trade Innovator, you will play a key role in driving our business forward by developing and implementing cutting-edge customs and trade processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customs and trade processes to ensure compliance with international regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Analyze Big Data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in customs operations.
  • Mentor and guide young professionals, leveraging their fresh perspectives and energy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with university partners to facilitate student internships and research collaborations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, International Trade, or related field, Law, Computer Science, or comparable degree or qualification.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data and AI tools, such as Celonis.
  • Excellent Excel skills and ideally already experience with SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to present complex topics across hierarchies in a simple and understandable way.
  • Customs and trade technical qualifications are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
