About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Backend Commerce Platform Developer to join our Products division. This role is part of our Commerce Platform domain, responsible for all commercial aspects. You'll work closely with our Cost Management team to develop services that measure cloud resource consumption and prepare data for billing.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud-based solutions for our customers
  • Collaborate with our product owner to develop product strategy and collect requirements
  • Migrate existing systems and develop migration strategies
  • Support and consult our product teams on metering and billing systems
  • Automate and optimize technical processes
  • Coach and mentor fellow team members in building up and expanding their knowledge
Your Profile

We're looking for team players with a warm heart and open-mind who like to challenge the status quo and constantly develop themselves and their team. You should feel comfortable in a young and dynamically growing company, even though there may not be a process for everything. Agile software development is your thing, as is enthusiasm for cloud technologies.

You should be strong in working conceptually and express your thoughts and ideas in writing. In your career, you've played a key role in the development of distributed and business-critical systems and ideally operated them. As a senior candidate, you've worked with Go for quite a while and used it in production systems. Alternatively, you're experienced with other languages like Java, Kotlin, or Rust and want to learn Go.

You're familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, and Helm. You're also familiar with different database types, especially PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Ideally, you have experience with event-based systems and the necessary technologies.
