Global Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Procurement Strategist to lead our global procurement organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving decisions and strategies, processes, analytics, digitalization efforts, training, and sustainability within the Heraeus Group's global procurement organization.

This role involves identifying the digitalization potential in existing procurement processes, especially regarding use cases for artificial intelligence. Additionally, the successful candidate will establish a sustainability framework for the procurement organizations of the Heraeus Group.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or similar, and minimum 8 years of professional experience in purchasing, finance, consulting, or project management, ideally with leadership experience in an international context.

Candidates should have cutting-edge knowledge and experiences in projects, processes, tools, and systems related to Procurement, Excellence, and Digitalization Projects. International working background is highly welcomed, and high persuasiveness and negotiation skills combined with a winning and enthusiastic personality promoting collaborative work are essential.
