Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Game Design Director to join our team at AppLike Group. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our games and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Game Design: Develop and implement game design strategies that drive player engagement and revenue growth.
  • Design Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of game designers to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Game Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop games that meet our quality and engagement standards.
  • Game Balance and Economy: Ensure that game balance and economy are optimized to drive player engagement and revenue growth.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Develop and test game prototypes to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Game Design Documentation: Create and maintain game design documentation to ensure that design decisions are well-documented and easily accessible.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in game design to ensure that our games remain competitive and engaging.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience in game design leadership, including 2+ years of experience managing design teams.
  • Game Design Expertise: Strong expertise in game design, including game mechanics, live operations, and F2P strategies.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Strong prototyping and testing skills, including the ability to develop and test game prototypes.
  • Game Balance and Economy: Strong understanding of game balance and economy, including the ability to optimize game balance and economy to drive player engagement and revenue growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
