Data Management and Governance Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Management and Governance Consultant to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our Data Management & Governance Consulting practice, you will be responsible for leading data management and governance initiatives, leveraging your expertise in data technologies, metadata management, and Collibra implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing metadata management approaches and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Align on interfaces to collect metadata automatically from different systems.
  • Prepare for metadata import and perform GAP analysis to identify missing elements.
  • Develop a common metadata model for multiple data platforms and domains.
  • Architect solutions to collect metadata automatically.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years in a Technology Consulting role leading Data Management & Governance initiatives.
  • Deep practical subject matter expertise in data technologies, including Azure Databricks, Azure Native services, and Collibra.
  • Minimum 2 years of Collibra implementation experience and its API.
  • Technology expertise with one or several Azure Services concepts.
  • Practical expertise in deploying and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and web-based repository hosting platforms.
  • Experience with custom parser development and metadata integration.
  • Proficient in German at a full professional level in both speaking and writing.
