About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Employee Tech Support Specialist to join our collaborative team at Wayfair. As a key member of our Employee Tech Operational Support Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our employees by providing technical support and resources.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working closely with various teams across the organization. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to employees across the organization, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with collaboration equipment and IT resources.
  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of loaner equipment, ensuring seamless support for employees.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, colleagues, and stakeholders via various channels, including chat, ticketing systems, and in-person interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and support Ethernet networks (LAN/WAN) and VPN connectivity, ensuring reliable and secure access to company resources.
  • Support on-premises and remote workers, providing timely and effective assistance to meet their technical needs.
  • Process and fulfill requests for access and equipment, ensuring efficient and accurate support.
Requirements
  • A basic understanding of technical terms and troubleshooting skills, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a technical role.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory experience, user/computer profiles, and user profiles.
  • A strong sense of customer service, attention to detail, and desire for organization, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of conferencing equipment and experience with Service Now would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
