Job Summary

We're seeking a talented UI/UX Software Engineer to join our Application Software team in Mannheim. As a key member of our R&D team, you'll work on developing cutting-edge software solutions for microscopy, collaborating closely with other teams to create innovative and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement state-of-the-art user interfaces that align with our "Leica Look & Feel" and prioritize usability.
  • Select and implement design patterns for efficient GUI library development.
  • Develop software in C# using the WPF framework, adhering to project and process flows.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure high standards of our software solutions.
  • Create software specifications and documentation.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in computer science, engineering, or natural sciences, along with several years of professional experience in software development.
  • Experience in creating user interfaces, preferably with WPF.
  • Familiarity with modern software development methods and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of C# programming language.
  • Good knowledge of English and German.
