Job Overview
TOMRA is a leading provider of innovative waste recycling solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement a systematic sales management approach in collaboration with the Country Manager CE.
- Plan and execute sales activities, as well as support sales initiatives outside CE if necessary.
- Oversee the area of Waste Recycling and sorting, with investment levels typically ranging from EUR – to be determined.
- E nsure effective internal organization of processes and structures.
- Manage the area sales budget.
- Develop, coach, and work together with the global sales team.
- Execute company strategy and support the Business Development Manager in evaluating new business fields as needed.
- Participate in local and international events, including exhibitions and conferences.
- Become an active part of the (global) Recycling Team.
- Main stakeholders include the Sales team Europe of 25 persons, Global Service, Test Center, Project Management, Business Development, local Management in USA, Europe, Rest of World.
Qualifications
- M asters or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, process technology, or comparable fields with significant industrial experience.
- > 5 years' experience in the waste recycling or waste processing industry.
- Experience selling large capital equipment, long project sales cycles, or technical equipment in the recycling industry, as well as managing Key Account Customers.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Strong commercial skills, customer-minded, result-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation, excellent listening, and communication skills, with an analytical approach.
- Mature character able to gain respect from owners/clients in the Recycling industry.
- Passion for the company's technology and employees.
