Demand Planner for Energy Storage Systems

LG Business Solutions Europe is seeking a skilled and motivated ESS EU Demand Planner to join our growing team. We are dedicated to providing innovative digital and technical solutions that transform businesses, enhancing productivity, agility, and energy efficiency.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage demand and revenue forecasting for the European market within the Energy Storage Systems division.
  • Provide comprehensive support to sales operations, ensuring seamless coordination between sales and planning activities.
  • Develop production and shipment plans based on accurate sales forecasts, considering product variations and distribution channels.
  • Effectively manage company and channel inventory levels, optimizing stock availability while minimizing holding costs.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the supply chain process, enhancing efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration among relevant stakeholders across departments, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Generate weekly visibility reports, providing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, incorporating sales plans into internal systems and driving production adjustments accordingly.
  • Match customer orders with available stock, ensuring timely order fulfillment and efficient delivery processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the factory to adjust production plans based on updated sales forecasts and market demands.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels, implementing strategies to prevent stock aging and minimize long-term inventory holding costs.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Prior experience in business systems operation or data analysis is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate an open-minded, agile, and collaborative approach to work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent English and German language skills. Fluency in Korean would be a valuable asset.
