We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Specialist to join our dynamic RSSC Customs DACH team at DSV. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customs clearance processes.

• Obtain and monitor all necessary customs permits and licenses
• Process and respond to operational requests from our locations and stakeholders
• Conduct internal AEO audits in DE, AT, and CH
• Support tender management and provide expert advice on customs-related matters
• Analyze and implement improvements to our internal control system (IKS)
• Organize and coordinate internal and external audits, process audits, and customs inspections
• Provide technical support and training for our Zoll software
• Develop and implement training programs for customs procedures and regulations
• Conduct self-assessments and provide key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Prepare and communicate employee information and work instructions
• Provide expert advice and support to our locations on customs-related matters
• Document and archive customs-related documents
• Support internal and customer-specific customs projects
• Manage customs claims and non-compliance with permit conditions

• Completed education in a related field, such as logistics or customs
• Excellent knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Fluent in German and excellent English language skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Travel may be required
