Nonwoven Application Engineer for Innovative Projects

RKW Group is a leading manufacturer of nonwovens and offers a wide range of products, including laminates. We are currently seeking an experienced Nonwoven Application Engineer to join our team.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary according to the collective agreement of the chemical industry, which includes a basic salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for R&D/application engineering activities in the area of nonwoven products and laminates. This includes independent implementation of new development projects, active customer contact, looking for new solutions and technologies, execution of X-Core projects, and leading the standardization of nonwoven recipes and raw materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position
  • Relevant university degree in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, chemistry, process engineering, or packaging technology
  • Knowledge of polymer analysis, material knowledge of polyolefins, and experience in extrusion technology
  • Good working experience in an international company
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Self-reliant, determined, and success-oriented way of working, teamwork, and assertiveness
  • Flexibility and high level of commitment
