Transforming IT Infrastructure with Automation

SAP is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Orchestration Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud Provider Interface team, you will play a crucial role in developing prototypes to enable deployments of different SAP cloud offerings on hyperscalers and SAP-owned datacenters.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation solutions for large IT landscapes using cloud-native technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into existing operations tool sets and processes
  • Drive the transformation and maturation of prototyped code to production-ready solutions
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to relevant operation teams

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in computer science or comparable work experience
  • Strong software development skills in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Perl)
  • Familiarity with scrum development methods and CI/CD deployment pipelines
  • Experience with web services development (HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful APIs, Open API, Swagger)
  • Knowledge of microservices, containers, and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
  • Customer orientation with a strong focus on quality
  • Excellent English and German language skills
