Senior Hardware Engineer - Pre-Development Close to Series Development

The Company covers a broad service and product portfolio for the spare parts and workshop business as well as for manufacturers of special-purpose vehicles with its Lifecycle Solutions business group.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop functions and technologies for the advancement of future high-voltage converters and onboard chargers in a small, interdisciplinary pre-development team.
- Collaborate with other involved domains such as software and design to ensure seamless hardware-related tasks.
- Develop new technology concepts considering product, process, and cost requirements and implement these concepts into prototypes.
- Support benchmarking activities and focus on forward-looking market developments (suppliers, competitors, customers).
- Create the HW architecture for new concepts and technologies and be responsible for component selection.
- Oversee circuit design and layout creation, and commission circuit parts or converters in the modern hardware lab.
- Work closely with series development, technology department, central pre-development, and external partners such as universities and suppliers.
Your Qualifications
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on power electronics.
- Relevant professional experience in the development of power electronic circuits is desirable.
- Experience in the early development environment and within the context of functional safety is ideal.
- Team spirit, motivated, and agile work approach.
- Strong technical understanding, analytical work style, and effective communication skills.
- Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
