Job Description:


We are seeking an exceptional researcher to join our team at the Fraunhofer Application Center »Connected Mobility and Infrastructure«. As a monocular depth estimation specialist, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge methods for autonomous drone perception. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and testing novel algorithms for depth estimation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and publishing research results in top-tier conferences and journals.



Required Skills and Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. You should have extensive experience with deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and proficiency in Python programming. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of neural networks, computer vision, and transformer architectures.
