About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Measurement Engineer to join our team at Leap29. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with customers and their specialized departments to align on project requirements.

You will translate customer requirements into technical solutions, contribute to the creation of process flow diagrams (P&I), select, design, and specify instruments and fittings, and choose, design, and specify I&C equipment, control systems, and DCS systems.

Additionally, you will participate in safety assessments, ensure implementation in safety equipment, handle technical inquiries, and evaluate quotations. You will also develop quantity structures or service specifications, conduct technical clarifications with suppliers and installation companies, and support specialist construction management during project execution.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or certification as a state-certified Electrical Engineering Technician. You will also require several years of professional experience in industrial or plant planning, particularly in refineries, petrochemicals, or chemicals.

You should be proactive and communicative, with experience leading small teams and managing multidisciplinary projects. Familiarity with project management, document management, and occupational health and safety is also essential. Knowledge of explosion protection and plant safety, as well as experience with CAE systems and engineering databases, is highly desirable.

Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required for this role.
