Job Title: Senior Accountant

Shure Europe is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our Accounting department, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our European distribution units.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group and local accounting requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and local financial service providers to ensure smooth financial reporting and audit processes.
  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet accounts, and income statement reviews for month-end closing.
  • Develop and maintain financial systems and processes to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting principles and regulations, ensuring compliance with group and local requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with additional finance specialized training.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, including financial statements.
  • Proven experience in applying German Accounting Principles (HGB) and international accounting rules.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple challenges simultaneously.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
