Senior Manager, Application Engineering

As a key member of the Renesas team, you will play a crucial role in managing the development and production of new evaluation boards and solutions for the automotive MCU series. You will work closely with product marketing teams and board design teams to drive innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of skilled engineers in creating new Renesas automotive solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Application Engineers and Product Marketers, as well as external partners and customers.
- Develop and deliver training programs for FAEs, Sales, Distributors, and customers on Renesas' applications.
- Present Renesas' technologies, products, and applications in technical seminars and conferences.
- Manage the development and production of hardware and software solutions, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 12 years of related work experience.
- Strong understanding of automotive system technical requirements and the ability to propose optimized products and solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, development tools, and ecosystems.
- Solid technical background with hands-on experience in hardware and software development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex topics and motivate team members.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, milestone tracking, and leadership.
- Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication skills.
- Result-oriented, self-organized, and self-motivated, with independence of thought.
