Job Title: Technical Building Management Leader / Facility and Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Building Management Leader to join our team at TJX Europe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with Management: Work closely with our management team to develop and implement strategies for production, health and safety, and risk management.
  • Equipment Optimization: Optimize the availability, productivity, and performance of equipment, machinery, and devices on site to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintenance Planning: Plan and manage the annual maintenance and equipment budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing effective solutions.
  • Facilities Management: Monitor and manage inspections, maintenance facilities, and technical systems in the building, as well as technical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective relationships and clear communication with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education: Completed education in engineering in mechanical engineering / electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Experience in facility, engineering, and maintenance management, including leading a technical team.
  • Skills: Problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as good teamwork in collaboration with the management team.
  • Language: Fluent in German and English.
