At ST. ROBO GmbH, we're seeking a skilled Technical Director to lead our live entertainment projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for crafting and executing innovative tour productions and live events. Your expertise will be essential in turning creative concepts into reality and overseeing projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and propose equipment solutions and audiovisual controls that meet project design and budget requirements.
  • Create detailed plans, technical drawings, and diagrams to ensure seamless equipment placement and electrical hookups.
  • Oversee equipment across all departments to optimize production fluidity.
  • Collaborate with producers and directors to ensure technical efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish a harmonious balance between environment, content, and technology to ensure quality control.
  • Develop daily operational procedures with integrators to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Travel occasionally to supervise project integration and ensure technical excellence.
  • Coordinate space usage and scheduling to minimize setup and breakdown time.
  • Provide internal technical support to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • 4-7 years of experience in engineering, equipment management, and employee supervision, with 3 years in technical direction related to live entertainment and touring.
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks and Spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of Lighting, Video, Rigging, Audio, and Staging.
  • Understanding of structural engineering and custom builds.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong project management and human resources skills.
  • Resourceful, responsible, and organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team player with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
