Senior Medicinal Chemist

Key Responsibilities:- Lead international medicinal chemistry teams and partner cross-functionally to advance projects
- Develop and implement novel medicinal chemistry strategies and execute multiparametric optimization of drug candidate properties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and reduce risks in collaboration to drive towards candidate nomination
- Promote professional development of a team of scientists through effective mentoring, guidance, and supervision
- Present program updates and research strategies to functional and non-functional leaders as well as potential and existing partners
- PhD with typically 6+ years of experience in organic or medicinal chemistry or equivalent field
- Extensive knowledge and experience in modern medicinal chemistry, preferably also in the field of protein degradation and CNS-drug development
- Highly organized and self-directed, experience leading medicinal chemistry teams
- Proven track record of productivity in the laboratory setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication is required as well as critical evaluation and data-driven decision making
